RE PANTE LUISA TUPPIL

Filipino national Pante Luisa Tuppil appealed against the refusal of leave to apply for judicial review of the Torture Claims Appeal Board's decision rejecting her non-refoulement claim. The applicant argued she was denied fair legal representation, but the Court of Appeal noted that non-refoulement claimants are not entitled to free legal representation at all stages. The appeal was dismissed.
