HKSAR V. LUNG HON LAM

The applicant was convicted of conspiracy to deal with property known or reasonably believed to represent proceeds of an indictable offence following a trial before a Deputy District Judge. He applied for leave to appeal against both conviction and sentence, and separately applied for bail pending appeal. The Court of Appeal refused bail but directed that the leave application be expedited, noting the grounds of appeal required more detailed consideration.
