HKSAR V. MIZANUR RAHMAN

Mizanur Rahman, a Bangladeshi national, was convicted after trial of trafficking in dangerous drugs and applied for bail pending his appeal against conviction and sentence. The Court of Appeal refused bail, finding his complaints against conviction and sentence were without substance, noting he was a Form 8 recognizance holder who had been strategically hiding drugs.
