RE SARMAN MILAKARINA

Indonesian applicant Sarman Milakarina sought extension of time to appeal the refusal of leave for judicial review of the Torture Claims Appeal Board's decision rejecting her and her children's non-refoulement claims. The CFI had refused leave in May 2023 and refused extension of time in August 2023. The Court of Appeal (Cheung JA and Andrew Chan J) dismissed the application.
