DO DUY MINH V. TORTURE CLAIMS APPEAL BOARD / NON-REFOULEMENT CLAIMS PETITION OFFICE

Vietnamese applicant Do Duy Minh sought leave to appeal to the Court of Final Appeal out of time against the dismissal of his non-refoulement appeal from December 2022. His non-refoulement claim had been rejected at all levels. The Court of Appeal (Au JA and S T Poon J) dismissed the notice of motion, finding no question of great general or public importance and the intended appeal devoid of merit.
