HKSAR V. HOSSAIN SHEIKH AFJAL

Hossain Sheikh Afjal, a Form 8 recognizance holder, applied over three years out of time for leave to appeal his District Court conviction for robbery of a box of durian at knifepoint. The judge had acquitted him of robbery at the close of prosecution but convicted of theft. The application was refused as devoid of merit, with the Court noting it was an attempt to delay repatriation.
