Mahmood Asjad applied for leave to appeal to the Court of Final Appeal after his application for extension of time to appeal the non-refoulement judicial review refusal was dismissed in 2023. The applicant filed the CFA leave application nearly two years later. The Court found no statutory requirements for leave to appeal were met and dismissed the motion, including in accordance with the applicant's own request for dismissal.
