RE KASIANI EDY SUSILO

Kasiani Edy Susilo, an Indonesian national who first came to Hong Kong as a foreign domestic helper in 1999, appealed the refusal of leave for judicial review of the Board's dismissal of her non-refoulement claim. She overstayed after her last contract was terminated in 2011, was arrested, and gave birth to two children in Hong Kong. The Court of Appeal dismissed her appeal, noting her desire to stay for her children was not a proper ground for challenge.
