LN, a child suing through his mother LM as next friend, applied under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Ordinance (Cap 481) against LK, executor of the estate of LC (deceased) of Hung Shui Kiu, Yuen Long. The court ordered provision from the estate for LN's maintenance including funds for tertiary education, contingent on his continued full-time studies after reaching 18. The interim maintenance order was discharged.
