DOAN THI THOM V. TORTURE CLAIMS APPEAL BOARD / NON-REFOULEMENT CLAIMS PETITION OFFICE

Doan Thi Thom, a Vietnamese national, appealed against the refusal of leave to apply for judicial review of the Torture Claims Appeal Board's decision dismissing her non-refoulement claim. The Court of Appeal found that none of the grounds in her Notice of Appeal identified any error by the judge, and her complaint about lack of oral hearing had not been raised below. The appeal was dismissed.
