DO VAN TAI V. TORTURE CLAIMS APPEAL BOARD / NON-REFOULEMENT CLAIMS PETITION OFFICE

The applicant, a Vietnamese national, had applied for leave to seek judicial review of the Torture Claims Appeal Board's decision rejecting his non-refoulement claim. He subsequently applied by affirmation to withdraw his application, stating it was made of his own free will and that it was now safe for him to return to his home country. The court granted the withdrawal application.
